You get our catalogs, you see us at shows, but do you
ever wonder where this company with
such cute things and awesome prices
came from?
Well, here's your answer!
Hanna's Handiworks was started in 1996 by Scott Dolasky
and Hanna Garretson. Inventory
consisted of four fabric dolls, and
was run out of Scott and Hanna's
house! Retailers quickly appreciated
the look, quality and price of
Hanna's Handiworks products. When
Scott and Hanna started getting
containers full of merchandise at
their house to fill orders, they
decided it was time to get a
warehouse!
In 1998
Scott and Hanna began leasing
warehouse space in the Kansas City
area. That same year, David Hergert
joined the Hanna's team. David
brings over 20 years experience in
merchandise design, and is the
company's Vice President.
In 2001 Hanna's Handiworks
found its home in a cave complex in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
No, kidding, it's really a cave! Why you might ask?
The temperature and humidity in a cave is always
constant. Inventory in a cave lasts an average of six times
longer than in an average warehouse. That way we are able to
have a large inventory so we can fill your re-orders!
As a customer of Hanna's, I'm sure you can see how the
company has grown from a small garage to a 150,000 square
foot warehouse with 10 warehouse and 10 office employees in
only eight years.
We are always striving to
bring you top quality products, low prices, and great
customer service. We are here to help your business grow and
prosper.
We always welcome your comments and we thank you for being a
Hanna's Handiworks customer.... we'll see you at the shows!
